Description

You have a new e-mail address and would like to enter it in your AGOV account.

Instructions

The procedure for changing your e-mail address depends on whether you still have access to your AGOV account:
  • You can still log in to your AGOV account (agov.ch/me). In this case, you can change the e-mail address yourself. The process for changing your e-mail address is described in the help article Modifying your AGOV account details.
  • If you do not have access to your AGOV account, please complete the request form below to change your e-mail address.
Request to change e-mail address
Due to data protection laws, e-mail addresses for blocked AGOV accounts can only be changed upon written request.

Please complete the request as follows:

  1. Download the application form: Request for to change the email address.
  2. Tick the option No access to old mailbox (new email address), enter your contact details and sign the application.
  3. Scan or photograph the completed and signed application form.
    Scan or photograph a valid form of ID as proof of identity:
      Passport: personal and signature page
      Identity card: front and back
      Residence permit: front and back
  4. Send the application form and the copy of your identification document as PDF, JPG or PNG documents with the subject “Archive AGOV account” by e-mail to the address given in the form.
  5. The archiving of your AGOV account will be confirmed by e-mail.
