How do I register an AGOV account with the AGOV access app as a login factor?Guide
Remarks- You can register a maximum of 5 AGOV access apps as login factors in one AGOV account.
- A device lock (PIN, fingerprint or Face ID) must be active on the smartphone or tablet in order for the AGOV access app to be registered. If the device lock is deactivated after installing the app, the app will remove the connection to the AGOV account for security reasons. The smartphone or tablet can be registered again in the app after activating the device lock with an account recovery, see help article What can I do if I no longer have access to my smartphone/tablet or security key?.
- Operating systems supported by the AGOV access app

- As soon as you click on Register in your authority's online service, you will be redirected to the AGOV registration page. Click on Register now! to create a new AGOV account.

- Read the information about account creation and then click on Continue.

- Select the AGOV access app as the login method.

- Enter your email address and confirm that you have read the privacy statement. Click on Continue.

- Enter your email address and confirm that you have read the data protection declaration.

- You will receive a verification code at the email address provided. Enter this code and click on Verify.
I have not received a verification code, what can I do?-
- Enter verification code.

- You can register your AGOV account either with the AGOV access app or with a security key. Select an option for registration with a security key, click here.

- Enter your personal details and click on Continue.

- You will now be prompted to scan the displayed QR code with your AGOV access app.

- Scan the QR code with the AGOV access app on your smartphone/tablet.

- Open the AGOV access app on your smartphone or tablet and scan the QR code.

- Open the AGOV access app on your smartphone and scan the following QR code.

- Select the preferred authentication method on your smartphone or tablet. This selection depends on your device settings: PIN, fingerprint or Face ID. Please note that the PIN is only valid for the AGOV access app. Remember it for later use with the AGOV-Login.

- Select an authentication method.
Successful registration is confirmed on the smartphone or tablet.-
- You have been successfully registered.
The device name and date of registration are displayed.-
- The device name and registration date are displayed.
Register your mobile number as a recovery option.-
- Register your mobile number as a recovery option.
Confirm your mobile number.-
- Please confirm your mobile number.

- You have successfully completed your AGOV account registration. You will also receive a confirmation to your email address.
