Creating a new AGOV account
  1. As soon as you click on Register in your authority's online service, you will be redirected to the AGOV registration page. Click on Register now! to create a new AGOV account.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions under option 1: Install AGOV access app.
    Once you have installed the AGOV access app on your smartphone or tablet, click on Start.

  3. Enter your email address and confirm that you have read the privacy statement. Click on Continue.

  4. You will receive a verification code at the email address provided. Enter this code and click on Verify.
    I have not received a verification code, what can I do?

  5. Enter your personal details and click on Continue.

  6. Select AGOV access app as the login factor and click on Confirm selection.

  7. Open the AGOV access app on your smartphone or tablet and scan the QR code.

  8. Select the preferred authentication method on your smartphone or tablet. This selection depends on your device settings: PIN, fingerprint or Face ID. Please note that the PIN is only valid for the AGOV access app. Remember it for later use with the AGOV-Login.

    Successful registration is confirmed on the smartphone or tablet.

    Register your mobile number as a recovery option.

  9. You have successfully completed your AGOV account registration. You will also receive a confirmation to your email address.
    You will receive a message and an e-mail that your registration has been successful.
