Registering for a new AGOV account directly through the access app

How do I register an AGOV account directly in the AGOV access App? Registering an AGOV account in the AGOV access App is only available from version 4.2.0 of the AGOV access App. Before starting the registration process, make sure that at least this version is installed on your smartphone or tablet.

Notes

To register a new account in the AGOV access App, you must have the AGOV access App installed on your smartphone or tablet.
The app can only be installed through the official distribution platforms, namely the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Search for “AGOV access App” in the respective store and install the application by following the instructions provided.

Accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use once

When you update to the new app version 4.2.0 for the first time, you will be asked to accept them.

Create a new AGOV account

  1. Select Register a new AGOV account

  2. Enter the email address you want to use to register your AGOV account.

  3. Confirm the code that was sent to the email address you provided.

  4. Enter your personal details.

  5. Enter your mobile number and confirm it a second time.

  6. Choose a login method of your choice. Fingerprint and facial recognition can only be used if they are enabled on your device.

  7. Your registration is complete once you have selected the login method. You can now return to your target application and log in.
